Experience Teaching speaking skills to young learners

 My experience in teaching speaking skills is that I ask them to show and tell alternately every day with a predetermined schedule. Topics are adapted to existing material. after they show and tell they will answer questions from each friend who asks a maximum of 3 three friends.

Experience Teaching listening skills to young learners

 My experience in teaching listening skills is that when I taught in pre-k I used follow the sound games. So this game requires teamwork, each child is divided into two, one who wears a blindfold and then one who moves an object to determine direction. there is also guess the sound from animal voice, follow the voice. so they have to repeat what sound they have heard before.

Fist meeting


○ Meaning of Teaching English for Young Learner is Teaching young learner from the baby to Junior High Schools use the suitable language that is simple language to deliver the language or material to them from their side's interest. 

○ I have experience in teaching young learner, when internship at NJIS, the class was Pre K, the range of the age are from 3-5 years old. 

○ When I was teaching young learner level, I feel it is fun because I can know how they find their interest in the subject, the pure of the act, how they use the critical thingking to ask the random questions, how they can understand the subject or the instructions, or the rule of the class by their self' think and so on. I think to teach young learner it was difficult for me especially it was my first time to teach young learner, I must to know their condition, if they hadn't want to talk, I must get quickly the trick, I must know their mood, in the first week I as the the teacher must  consistent and not giving any loopholes if they try not to follow the rules so that in the future they can follow the rules and instructions that have been given well. We must get the fast trick if they had distracted while the class running, and so on. For me it is so fun and I am happy to teach the young learner

Experience as a reader and meaning of reading

 My experience as a reader I prefer to use e- book for reading and especially read fiction story. From reading, I often get many new information that I haven't know before. I can get many vocabularies too. 

Reading is an activity to see a reading and understand the contents of the reading so that the reader can get information from what has been read

Reason curriculum is important and material development effect for English teacher

 The curriculum is important to learn so that the goals that have been determined for a lesson can be achieved properly 

Material development is very influential because one of the important things that must be mastered is the learning material itself so that teaching and learning can run well and students can understand well what they learn and get in learning, and then they can understand the material

Hi all, here I will explain a little of my experience regarding the use of the curriculum that I have used during. The curriculum that I have used is the 2006 curriculum or KTSP and the 2013 curriculum.

I used the ktsp curriculum from my elementary to junior high school grade 2. Here I got good material from the teacher and I also got computer subjects. The assessment is more towards academic even though there are non-academic assessments but they are more directed upwards and it is important to see academic values, besides that learning is also more detailed and detailed. For majors during high school, this curriculum applies from class XI, which means that in class X all students study all subjects because there are no majors but at the time after there are majors according to the majors taken. 2013 curriculum itself I only have 2 years of experience using the curriculum. What I feel is academic and academic assessment, then there are subjects that increase children's creativity so that from a non-academic and academic perspective, it is very important. In addition, the subjects taught are not very detailed, meaning that students must be more independent in finding material and studying it. For majors in high school, all students get majors from the beginning they are in high school and they also continue to study all subjects even though they choose their high school major. There is such a thing as compulsory subjects, interests, between interests and deepening. The assessment is carried out not only on grades, but on the existing process more than the 2006 curriculum
